He goes on the prowl each night, Like an alley cat. Looking for some new delight, Like an alley cat.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with light this week. I'm dying to get back out and take photos of nature, or portraits in natural light, but it's either been freezing or raining outside - or both! We haven't had a harsh winter (yet, knock on wood), but I'm already looking forward to spring.
I was feeling very black and white this week.
I played around with light and shadow a lot this week. Sunshine was so rare, I had to capture it whenever it showed itself. The rest were playing with candles and different lamps.
While I was playing around with ISO to get clear, not overblown shots, I also had fun using a low setting to get some light trails. These are, of course, from Memphis Botanic Garden's Holiday Wonders.
As I mentioned in my last post, this angel statue was so breathtaking with the drapes and lights that I had to give her a spotlight feature.
I had to share more from Memphis Botanic Garden's Holiday Wonders. Bundle up and go check it out if you get a chance!
