A to Z Blogging Challenge

I’m excited to participate in the A to Z Blogging Challenge this year. I first participated in the challenge in 2011 on my old, currently unpublished blog, Allison Writes. I attempted again in 2015 on the same blog. Last year I participated on my book blog, How I Feel About Books, and the original version of this photo blog, which isn’t currently published online. Juggling two challenges at once was tough, but I had a lot of fun doing it.

This year I’m only doing it on this blog. I planned on focusing on a topic that really interests me: Going Green. Being environmentally friendly, eco friendly, natural living, whatever you want to call it. Over the years I’ve been taking many small steps to help the environment as much as I can, and I’ve been doing a pretty good job at keeping them up. I want to share my insight to show others that going green and being thoughtful with consumption isn’t hard to do, and you can do it in small steps – tiny steps – and still make a huge difference.

While plotting my A to Z posts, I started going through my old photography portfolios for a different project. I’ve found a lot of images that I adore, but had completely forgotten about. I decided to tweak my “theme” a little bit, so now my posts are going to end up being a mixture of photography memories and my thoughts on going green.

    • Thanks so much! I’ve been taking very small steps, and while I know I still have a LONG way to go, I recently saw a statistic that more people taking smaller steps actually makes a bigger difference than a few people going all-out! Makes sense, but I never thought of it that way.
